Not very deep, but is a good starter book for Christian couples. Covers a broad range of topics and is easy to read. Probably not a good book for long time Christians, as they will not get much out of it.

Don’t get me wrong, the devotional itself was good, but my girlfriend & I were looking for something that would be more relationship-focused. In my opinion, it was as if they took a good devotional and sprinkled in some dating-related topics. Only Week #8 on Purity had a significant relationship focused.
So for those couples looking for something to start with in order to began reading the Word & praying together, I would suggest this book. For couples that already have that practice in place and are looking for more spiritual insights into your dating life, I’d recommend Before You Get Engaged

I really enjoyed this book. My boyfriend and I went through it and it definetely helped us draw nearer to God and to each other. I believe he enjoyed it as well. It’s great for relationships that are in any stage-whether newly dating, engaged, or even married.

This book is a really good starter for couples who want to get serious in their spiritual life and create a spiritual bond and more serious relationship. We didn’t agree with some of the recommended structure but still made it work for our level of relationship as we were already engaged and spiritually close.
Again, a good starter but for those already looking at marriage and have maybe already faced some hard times together, a more in-depth, less generic study would be better.
